This pattern is for three different styles and three different sizes (7”, 8” and 9”):
Fabric Requirements:
- 40cm exterior fabric (light canvas, heavier weave fabric, Essex linen or linen blend)
- 30cm lining
- 30cm homespun (foundation required if making the all-over Traditional Mending Boro style pouch)
- Assortment of coordinating fabrics to decorate with
- Boro mending pouch(front cover) Blue Patches all over 8x20cm pieces
- Modern Boro and Embroidered Boro (last page of pattern) Assortment of large floral or picture prints suitable to be cut up and rearranged
Required:
- 60cm parlan (light iron-on wadding)
- Applique pins
- Embroidery #7 needles
- Perle #8 assortment of plains and variegated
The above requirements will be enough for whatever size pouch you decide to create.
